Warranty

We offer a two-year warranty on all products from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. Our warranty policy does not cover reasonable wear and tear or misuse of products; however, we use consideration when dealing with warranties, so if you’re not sure please submit a claim anyway.

This warranty applies only to United Shapes snowboards purchased from an authorized United Shapes dealer, and is valid only for the original purchaser. Snowboards purchased through any unauthorized sales channels, including second hand sales, ebay, overstock resellers, or any other non United Shapes approved storefront are not covered by warranty.

If you purchased your product from Unitedshapes.com you can submit your warranty claim directly with us by completing the form below.

If you purchased your product from an authorized dealer or online retailer you must return to the original seller who will submit a warranty claim to us on your behalf.

United Shapes is responsible for the replacement of any defective product. We are not responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss, misuse or alteration of the product. Please note that any warranty claim submitted without proof of purchase, no matter the defect, will be rejected

Please read the information below before processing a warranty claim.

  • Our warranty program covers all products for two years from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. Any damage cause by reasons listed below will not be accepted as a warranty:

Damage due to normal wear and tear.

Damage due to mis-use or neglect. i.e. wet and rusted edges, using board as shovel, etc.

Damage due to improperly mounting of bindings. i.e. over-tightening, mounting with power tools, stripping inserts, incorrect mounting hardware.

Damage caused by binding design. Some bindings have design flaws, such as hard corners that focus excessive amounts of pressure on the topsheet and core. Avoid bindings with sharp corners at their extremities.

Scratching or chipping on the topsheet due to bindings, stickers, solvents, running into things, or the kid behind you in the lift line.

Damage caused by riding on non-snow elements. i.e. jibbing, rails, riding across parking lots.

Impact-related damage, including damage due to improper landing angles or surfaces. This includes park features.

Intentional damage. If you intentionally damage your snowboard in order to attempt a warranty claim you will regret it.

  • Before placing a claim, we recommend you check with your local shop. If the damage can be repaired, that’s always your best option.

To kick off the warranty process, simply fill the form in below. Before you start the warranty process, please ensure you have the following to hand:

    • Details of the faulty product (model, size, year)

    • Proof of purchase

    • Clear pictures: damage on the product, both bases and both topsheets, serial number and/or QR code

    • Details of how the damage happened

Please note that any warranty claim submitted without proof of purchase, no matter the defect, will be rejected.

All board returns must be insured by the claimant. United Shapes cannot assume responsibility for snowboards lost or damaged in transit.

  • It happens in the backcountry, it happens when you catch a landing wrong, when you land disaster and just snap it. Call it bad luck.

First question is: can it be repaired? If you’re not sure, take it to your local shop and have them take a crack at it. You’d be surprised what a good board tech can do with epoxy and clamps.

If your board is toast, we may have a comparable board available at a discount. Contact us and we can discuss your options, our goal is to get you back on the slopes.
