Inside the Horizon Redesign
This update is about energy, creativity and refinement.
This update is about energy, creativity and refinement.
The Horizon has always been our most versatile shape, a board built to move freely across the entire mountain in every condition. For this redesign, our goal wasn’t to reinvent it, but to refine what makes it special and help accentuate the way riders interact with the resort.
This update is about energy, creativity and refinement.
We started by revisiting the shape itself. The new Horizon outline leans more classic; cleaner and more timeless - striking a balance between the shapes of the Cadet and the Object.
We also added a touch more volume to the nose. The result is improved float on soft days and a more playful feel when slashing, buttering, or airing off features. It stays directional without feeling locked in.
To match the updated shape, we developed the new Energy Core with Poplar, Paulownia and Bamboo - designed to make the Horizon feel more alive underfoot.
This new core has made the Horizon:
We also softened the flex just slightly. This makes the Horizon more freestyle-friendly and approachable at slower speeds, while still maintaining enough backbone to charge when you want to open it up.
The redeveloped Horizon is designed with resort-focused riders in mind - those who see undulations across the entire mountain as opportunities to interact.
From early-morning corduroy to park laps, side hits, cat-track airs, and end-of-day slush sessions, this version of the Horizon encourages a more playful, high energy approach to riding. It rewards creativity without demanding constant speed or perfect conditions.
At its core, the Horizon remains what it’s always been: a board that adapts to how you ride, not the other way around.
This redevelopment simply sharpens that focus - bringing more energy, more float, and more freedom into one of our most loved shapes.
